This Saturday evening will be the Guitar Circle's monthly meeting at Chapman, this one featuring last year's GFA competition winner, Xavier Jara. This recital is part of Jara's first prize year-long concert tour culminating with an appearance at Carnegie Hall, don't miss this one!

And we have a busy weekend otherwise, Friday afternoon Christopher Parkening's program at Pepperdine offers its free monthly concert at the Malibu Public Library, and that evening Zoran Dukic performs at Cal State Northridge. Then on Saturday evening the Quattro Palos quartet, visiting from Japan, appears in a free recital at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa, and on Sunday afternoon the brilliant Ana Vidovic stars in a benefit concert in San Pedro.
