A semblance of normality returns to the SoCal Events community! The Ventura County Classical Guitar Society will be presenting live recitals this year, I unfortunately got to this too late for their first recital which was Wednesday evening, but the rest of their 2021 schedule has been posted on the SoCal Events list.

LA Valley College will offer both "live online" guitar classes and live in person classes, including a community ensemble, all taught by Jordan Charnofsky. For more information contact Gregory Newton newtonguitar@earthlink.net.

David Adele's Santa Ana Guitar Ensemble will be meeting virtually this semester, keep in mind that this means out-of-state guitarists can participate. For more information contact David Adele davidsadele@gmail.com.

And the Guitar Foundation of America is accepting applications for the 2021-2022 GFA Mentor Program, whose goal is to "support and develop talent among classical guitarists of color through instruction, engagement, and career development support."
