The Orange County Guitar Circle's monthly meeting is next Saturday in Orange, this one featuring the internationally renown performing and recording artist Yuri Liberzon. Don't miss it!
Four other events this week, starting on Wednesday when the combined Mt. San Antonio and Santa Ana Colleges' guitar ensembles will offer a concert in Walnut, this one free - and they perform again on Saturday in Santa Ana. In Claremont on Friday at noon the Duo Arroyo (Connie Sheu, guitar and Elise Henry, flute) offer a free recital, and on Sunday afternoon in the Mar Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles, Christina Gallieto performs as part of the U.S. International Guitar Series.
And if you don't already know about them, I'd like to give you a heads-up about the Omni Foundation for the Performing Arts in San Francisco, whose major focus is on the classical guitar. They produce live concerts in several venues in San Francisco some of which are simultaneously broadcast (some of these broadcasts were added to our events listing during the Covid lockdown, but are no longer included). But they have a YouTube channel with many excellent videos of superb performers which you may be interested in watching. You can learn more about them by navigating their website at: https://omniconcerts.com/, and their YouTube channel at: https://www.youtube.com/@OmniFoundation/videos.
