We look forward to three events this week, on Friday evening Ebaa Khamas & Andrew Wilson perform at the Vietnamese-American Classical Guitar Society's meeting in Westminster, on Saturday the flamenco star Jose Antonio Rodriguez appears in recital in Topanga, and on Saturday afternoon in Costa Mesa the Orange Coast College Classical Guitar Ensemble, under the direction of Adam Pettit, present their end-of-year concert with the extraordinary Andrew York appearing as guest artist.

I'd also like to remind everyone that on March 2nd and 3rd, 2019, the Orange County Guitar Circle, together with Chapman University, will be presenting the inaugural OC Classical Guitar Festival and Competition.This two-day event, taking place at Chapman University, will include lectures by notable musical scholars and author Jonathan Kellerman, an extensive vendor fair, and will be highlighted by performances and master classes with the world-renowned classical guitarists Manuel Barrueco and Tengyue Zhang. An exciting feature of this festival will be the OCGC Classical Guitar Competition which will include both adult and youth divisions, and which will be awarding more than $4,000 in prize money.
