On Saturday is the OC Guitar Circle's monthly meeting at Chapman, this one a Members' Showcase. Three events all this coming weekend...on Saturday evening the renown French star Judicael Perroy offers a recital at Cal State Northridge, on Sunday afternoon Anastasia Malliaras (soprano) and Aaron Haas (guitar) perform in Riverside, and that same afternoon the lovely AlmaNova flute/guitar duo appear in South Pasadena. The world-renown lutenist Paul O'Dette is in southern California this week, he's offering a Master Class for USC's guitar students tomorrow (Thursday) at noon, free to auditors, and three recitals on Sunday afternoon in Beverly Hills (the Da Camera Society events are pricey and limited, but there seem to still be seats available).
