Ana Vidovic has unfortunately had to cancel her appearance at Sunday's benefit concert in San Pedro due to a family emergency, but Pepe and Celino Romero have agreed to appear in her place, they will be performing solos and possibly some duets. Busy weekend coming up starting with two free events, on Friday evening the Pasadena Conservatory of Music presents its student recital and their guitar orchestra, and on Saturday afternoon the Sheu Pettit Guitar Duo perform at the Brand Library in Glendale. Running late this week...two free events today (Wednesday), with USC offering its Classical Guitar Showcase in LA and the Campanella Guitar Quartet appearing at the Ventura County Classical Guitar Society's monthly meeting in Camarillo. We have two free duo performances, both in libraries, this weekend, the AlmaNova guitar/flute duo appears in Glendale on Saturday morning and guitarist Ines Thome performs with violinist Mann-Wen Lo in Newport Beach on Sunday afternoon.
